Terms of Use

Updated on October 23, 2026

These Terms govern the use of Nootrie by nutritionists and other health professionals. By using Nootrie, you agree to what is written here.

See also the Privacy Policy.

Who provides Nootrie

Nootrie is provided by Nootrie, a project in beta that has no Brazilian company registration (CNPJ) yet. Address: 120 Broadway Ave. Contact: vivitomelo@gmail.com.

When Nootrie starts being provided by a company, these Terms will be updated and you will be told before you continue.

Free beta

During the beta, Nootrie is free and by invitation. Nothing will be charged without telling you first and your agreement.

Because it is a beta, Nootrie may change, be unstable or stop offering a feature. If we need to end the beta, we will tell you in advance and you will be able to copy what you need first.

Nootrie is a support tool

Nootrie records, transcribes and organises what was said in your consultation — anamnesis, the patient's context, a summary and draft messages — to speed up your work. It is a documentation tool.

Nootrie does no clinical analysis: it does not interpret tests, make diagnoses, or suggest or recommend diets, foods, supplements, treatments or courses of action. The artificial intelligence only reorganises information said in the consultation, and every item it highlights comes with the excerpt of the conversation it came from.

Every clinical decision — what to record, what to tell the patient, what to put in the meal plan — is yours, and so is the responsibility for it. Nothing leaves Nootrie without your review.

The patient's authorisation to record

For your patients' data, you are the controller and Nootrie processes it on your behalf (see "Nootrie as your data processor"). So informing the patient and getting their authorisation is up to you, not the app.

Before recording any consultation, you commit to telling the patient that it will be recorded, transcribed by artificial intelligence (Lemonfox, in the European Union) and organised by artificial intelligence (Google Gemini), with processing outside Brazil, and to getting their authorisation, as your profession's rules require. If the patient says no, do not record. If they are a minor, the authorisation comes from a parent or legal guardian.

Nootrie does not ask for this confirmation at every recording: by accepting these Terms, you take on this commitment for all of them. A printable form and a script for verbal authorisation are in Settings, if you want them.

Use Nootrie to record in-person consultations. The CFN's telenutrition rules do not allow recording online consultations that involve health data.

You review everything before using it

Everything artificial intelligence prepares — anamnesis, diet attention points, messages, summaries — is a proposal. You commit to reading, checking, and approving each item before using it with the patient or sending it through any channel.

If something is wrong, incomplete, or clinically off, discard or edit it. Never forward to the patient something you have not read.

Nootrie is not your clinical record

Nootrie prepares drafts for your documentation. The official record of the consultation is your clinical record (prontuário), and it is up to you to check, sign and keep what goes into it for as long as the law and the CFN require.

Before deleting a patient or your account, copy or export what you need to keep: deletion in Nootrie is final.

What data we process and why

To work, Nootrie processes the data you record: your account data (name, email, preferences), your patients' data (name, contact, anamnesis, clinical context), and the audio and transcript of the consultations you choose to record.

We use this data exclusively to provide the service: transcribing, organizing, and preparing your consultation materials. We do not sell data, we do not use your consultation content to train third-party models, and we do not share patient data with anyone beyond what you authorize in integrations (such as your Google Calendar or Gmail).

Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Nootrie as your data processor

For your patients' data, Nootrie commits to:

Minor patients

If the patient is a minor, you commit to obtaining consent from a parent or legal guardian before recording the consultation or registering their data in Nootrie, as required by applicable law.

Cancellation and data deletion

You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time in Settings. Within 15 days we erase your data and your patients' data from our systems and confirm by email, respecting legal retention periods and anything you have already sent to third parties yourself (such as emails sent through your Gmail).

You can also delete an individual patient at any time — their data is removed from Nootrie, keeping only the audit record required by law.

Limits of liability

Nootrie is provided as is, in beta. We work to make it work well and keep your data safe, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or free of errors.

Because clinical decisions are yours (see "Nootrie is a support tool"), Nootrie is not liable for actions taken on material you did not review. Nothing in these Terms limits rights the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes to these Terms

If we change these Terms in a relevant way, Nootrie will show you what changed and ask for your acceptance again before you keep using it.

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of your place of residence are chosen to settle any question about them.
